Eyebrows

Permanent makeup for brows is a popular cosmetic procedure that involves both microblading and powder brows techniques. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing method that creates hair-like strokes to mimic natural brow hairs, while powder brows use a shading technique to create a soft, powdered, or pixeled look. Both techniques can enhance the appearance of your brows and provide long-lasting results.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I know what brow type is for me?

When it comes to eyebrows, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. That's why time is taken to understand your unique skin type, preferences, and desired look to determine the best form of brows you. Whether you're looking for a natural or bold, rest assured knowing you're covered. Let work together to create the perfect brows for you.

2. Is the eyebrow procedure painful?

Pain levels can vary depending on individual tolerance, but most people describe the sensation as irritating rather than pain. Topical and secondary numbing creams are applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.

3. What is the duration of an eyebrow appointment?

The brow treatment usually takes around 1 to 2 hours, including the initial consultation, discussing preferences, mapping out the eyebrows, and the actual application of the pigment.

4. Is there downtime after having my brows done?

There may be some redness and slight swelling immediately after the procedure, but it typically subsides within a day or two. Most people can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure, although it's advisable to avoid strenuous activities and excessive sweating for a few days.

5. What is the aftercare?

Post care instructions include keeping the treated area clean throughout the healing process, avoiding swimming, saunas, and excessive sweating, and applying a healing ointment as recommended. Each guest is sent home with a digital copy of aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing.

6. What should I expect during the healing process?

During the healing process, the eyebrows may appear darker or more intense than desired. This is normal and part of the healing process. Over the following weeks, the pigment will gradually fade to a more natural-looking shade. A digital, detailed list of what to expect is sent home with each guest following their appointment.

7. Are there any risks or side effects associated with permanent eyebrow makeup?

Like any cosmetic procedure, there are risks involved, including infection, allergic reactions.

8. Am I still a candidate for Permanent Makeup if I have certain medical conditions or allergies?

It's essential to be informed of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you are taking before undergoing the procedure. Some medical conditions or medications may affect your eligibility for permanent makeup.
